Ben Blackwell is Principal Photographer at the University of California, Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive. He is also contract photographer for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and other museums and galleries. Ben Blackwell's work is in the collections of the Spencer Museum of Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the International Center of Photography. He is specialised in large format film and digital art reproduction.
He took the photos for the books of Mel Krieger "The Essence of Flycasting" and "The Quintessence of Fly Casting".
Now Ben Blackwell produced a limited edition of three motives from the first book as digital pigment prints with light resistant archival ink on heavy (300 g/m2) cotton made, acid free Museo-Fine-Art-Papier Crane Museo® Silver Rag™
On the front stands handwritten the print number and signature of Ben Blackwell.
The rear bears a stamp:
